• Reread John 1:1-48. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to give you ears to hear and rejoice.

• What do you see in these passages that impresses you about the Father, the Son, or the Holy Spirit? What in these passages is helping you see where you’re in need of spiritual formation (growing into the image of Christ)?

• When the tomb of Lazarus was opened, his deadness and stench was exposed. Yet, when Jesus’ voice reached Lazarus’ ears, life was imparted to him. Are there things in your “tomb” that you don’t want exposed? Those may be the areas that Jesus wants to impart his “zoe” (divine) life to you.

• Is the Holy Spirit prompting obedience from you this week? Take action, tell someone, and invite someone to join you that may be feeling the same prompting.

• Jesus is calling us out of death and into life. That means change. What is God calling you to step out of?

• Be a conduit of Jesus’ voice to those around you to call them out of deadly sin patterns and into faith in Jesus’ life?
